ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Sometimes it is uncomfortable to have legs resting on top of each other when side lying. The Soft Side-Sleeping Leg Cushion is designed to help make this position more comfortable.
It is possible to remove or add some of the soft hollow-core polyester fibre filling for individual pressure care requirements. This filling is cool and soft next to the body and may help patients stay thermoneutral.
The Cushions come with four adjustable, removable leg straps. The large size has 50cm straps and the small size has 35cm straps. The straps can be cut shorter if desired, and custom sized straps can also be made on request.
Note: We highly recommend purchasing one of the extra covers to use as an outer cover (‘Cover Only’ in the table below). Then, if you want to wash the outer cover, you can just take the cover off without having to wash the entire product.

Suitable for a variety of bed positioning and pressure care applications.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
When the person is lying on their back, place the cushion between their legs and fasten the two straps around one leg. These do not need to be done up tightly.
If necessary, use the two extra straps to hold the other leg in place. The person is then considered to be restrained, so ensure this is approved and noted in their care plan. Some people may not need to use any straps at all.
Though designed for sleeping, this Cushion may also be used to separate the legs while in a wheelchair, with a black cover to be more discreet.
