ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Soft Lateral Cushion can be used in a variety of ways. With the patient lying on their side, one end can be placed under their head as a pillow. Note that some filling can be removed to reduce pressure under the ear. The length of the cushion is then placed behind the patient’s back and taken down between the legs. When used in this way, it can help prevent the patient from rolling onto their back or rolling forward out of bed.
It is possible to remove or add some of the soft hollow-core polyester fibre filling for individual pressure care requirements. This filling is cool and soft next to the body and may help patients stay thermoneutral.
Note: We highly recommend purchase one of the extra covers to use as an outer cover (“Cover Only” in the table below). This means if you want to wash the outer cover, you can just take the cover off, without having to wash the entire product.
