ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
This is a basic wedge-shaped cushion that can be used under the knees or thighs to help prevent sliding when a patient is sitting up or semi-reclined in bed. It may be placed under the knees, and some of the filling can be removed under each leg to create a pommel between the knees so that the legs rest in two separate channels.
It is possible to remove or add some of the soft hollow-core polyester fibre filling for individual pressure care requirements. This filling is cool and soft next to the body and may help patients stay thermoneutral.
Note: We highly recommend purchase one of the extra covers to use as an outer cover (“Cover Only” in the table below). This means if you want to wash the outer cover, you can just take the cover off, without having to wash the entire product.
