The Pelican range of Falls Prevention Alarms Equipment aims to help repent falls, and therefore injuries. Research has shown that up to 50% of people living in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities will fall at some stage. As well as being upsetting for the person and their family, there is also the extra cost of caring for someone has had has a fall, and any rehabilitation equipment they will need. The Pelican alarms work on a ‘pressure/pressure off’ mat technique – we do no use laser or light beams, which are excellent alternatives. Our simple technology makes them simple to use, and spare parts are available.
