ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Bed Rail Protectors – Heat Sealed is a 100% heat-sealed product that fits over the side rails of a bed. The soft foam provides protection against injury if the person in bed kicks or strikes the rails.
The top of the Bed Rail Protectors – Heat Sealed is designed to provide protection against the upper rail. If the person places a leg or arm over the top of the rail, the flap folds over the metal bar to provide additional protection.
The inner surface near the patient is a beige wipeable vinyl designed to help protect against urine, feces, vomit, and blood. The cover can be wiped clean and is durable and long lasting.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
This product may assist people who are at risk of entrapment in bed rails. Entrapment risks may include an arm, leg, or head becoming caught in the rails.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Raise the side rails. Place the Bed Rail Protector over the rail, positioning it down between the mattress and the rail. The protector will remain in place as it covers both sides of the bed rail.
