ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Leg Abductor – Large is used after Hip Replacement operations to hold the legs apart when turning a patient in bed. For Infection Control, this product is also available in a medical grade vinyl material with heat sealed seams.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
This product is suitable for people who have had a hip replacement operation.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
The legs are held firmly and comfortably in place in the cut-out grooves on both sides of the abductor by 5cm / 2″ Hook & Loop Tape straps.
PRODUCT MATERIALS
Foam, material, hook and loop tape, or wipeable, breathable, soft vinyl, plastic buckles.
WARNING
This product must not be used as a restraint. It is only for use under the observation of a therapist.
