    The Leg Abductor – Large is used after hip replacement operations to hold the legs apart when turning a patient in bed. For infection control, this product is also available in a medical-grade vinyl material with heat-sealed seams.

    WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?

    This product is suitable for people who have had a hip replacement operation.

    HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

    The legs are held firmly and comfortably in place in the cut-out grooves on both sides of the abductor by 5cm / 2″ hook & loop tape straps.

    PRODUCT MATERIALS

    Foam and material, hook & loop tape, or wipeable, breathable soft vinyl and plastic buckles.

    WARNING

    This product must not be used as a restraint. It is only for use under the observation of a therapist.
