ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Bed Step – One Step is designed to assist patients when getting into or out of bed. It is particularly useful when the bed cannot be lowered sufficiently, such as when an overlay pressure mattress increases bed height.
The Step may also be used to assist with access to ambulance trolleys.
It features a medical-grade, heat-sealed wipeable vinyl cover and a non-slip base to help prevent movement during use.
Two height options are available:
- One Step (this product) – 10cm / 4″ height
- Two Steps – dual-level 10cm / 4″ and 20cm / 8″ heights
The choice between the One Step and Two Steps depends on the height of the bed.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
Suitable for people who require a step to assist with getting into or out of bed.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Position the Step beside the bed so the patient can step onto it while facing the head of the bed. The person may steady themselves using the mattress if required. Ensure the heels remain in front of the marked line. The Step is large enough to accommodate both feet.
