ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Walking Sling โ Adjustable is designed to be clinically fitted and safely used by an experienced therapist. This sling is used for walking rehabilitation for children.
The main advantage of the Walking Sling โ Adjustable is the adjustable straps. These allow the straps to be quickly and easily tightened or loosened while the child is standing.
Features:
- Adjustable hoist straps and leg straps with heavy-duty metal camlocks โ allowing straps to pass through, be tightened, and locked
- Wide webbing straps for extra comfort against the chest and back
- Three adjustable straps to ensure a snug fit
- Finger loops to assist with tightening the side straps
- Adjustable webbing leg straps with an optional Padded Sleeve Set available (sold separately)
- Extra padding under metal camlocks for each leg strap
Note: We highly recommend also ordering the Padded Sleeve Set (sold separately). This is a set of three pads of different lengths which slide over the Walking Sling webbing leg straps. This provides extra padding and comfort. The reason the padding is not built into the sling is that therapists often require flexibility in placement.
An alternative product is the Walking Sling with Webbing Loops.

When training, practice with an able-bodied colleague. If any procedure is not comfortable or is difficult and puts the carer or patient in a dangerous position, the participants should call out to stop the maneuver, recover and recommence.
