WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Slide Board Mat is a padded transfer mat can be used with a slide board such as the Slide Board – Trolley (sold separately) to slide a patient lying supine on a bed to a shower trolley, operating table, etc.
The foam padding in the Mat will protect the patient’s back from the hard board.
The pulling straps are long enough to reach across a trolley or bed, so the nurses can maintain a good manual handling position, when sliding the patient.
Sometimes the Mat can be used without a slide board. This would depend on:
- The weight of the patient
- The hardness of the bed mattress
- The size of the gap between the bed and the trolley.

Suitable for use in a hospital for transferring people.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Fold the edge of the Slide Board Mat around the edge of the slide board. Log roll the patient onto the board, then pull out the wrapped part of the Mat. Position your hands through the webbing loops, and pull the Slide Board Mat.
