The Seclusion Room Bed has a layer of convoluted foam on the top for patient comfort. There are no hard materials such as steel or wooden frames, making it more difficult for a patient to deliberately harm themselves or remove and throw components.
The durable yet soft cover material is resistant to damage from biting or tearing. The side flaps allow air circulation and help reduce stress on the heat seals if pressure is applied to the bed.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
The Seclusion Room Bed is used in locked wards and seclusion rooms for high-risk individuals.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
By using Mattress Handling straps (sold separately), the Seclusion Room Bed can be easily moved by two carers. The straps include hand loops on both sides for safe manual handling and can assist when cleaning seclusion rooms or moving the bed up or down stairs.
PRODUCT MATERIALS
The fire-retardant, heat-sealed cover is made from a waterproof, breathable, 4-way stretch material.
