BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Exerciser can be positioned over a door. When the door is closed the top webbing is jammed in place. A loop is attached to the top part of the Exerciser which can be hung from a hook instead of a door.
There are two adjustable hand loops. When exercising, the Patient can put their hands inside the loops in a comfortable position, so that they do not need to hang on to the loops.
To use the Exerciser, the Patient may be facing the door or have their back to the door, and they may be sitting or standing – consult your Health Professional for guidance. They should use their good arm to assist lifting the weak arm, then lower the weak arm back down by raising their good arm.
A Tip For Shorter People: To help when putting the webbing over the top of the door, use something like a broom handle and place the end into the webbing, then pull the webbing taught so it will not fall off. Next, use the broom handle to raise the webbing into position over the top of the door, then remove the broom handle.
