WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Heel & Footdrop Bed Support is designed so that the user has no pressure on their heels, good blood circulation under the calves, and their feet have something to rest against. It is made from foam with a cover, and the foam has convolutions to help blood circulation.  Anti-Rotation Foot Straps (sold separately) are available to help position the feet.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?

This product may be suitable for people who are at risk of:

  • Developing or suffering from pressure sores, or bed sores on their heels
  • Developing or suffering from footdrop


BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Place on the bed and attach the white Hook Tape to the grey Velour uprights. This will hold the Footdrop Bed Support up. Position the person so that their heels have no pressure on them. 

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT MADE FROM?

Foam, polycotton, velour, hook & loop tape, plastic.

CLEANING METHOD

Machine or hand wash.

DETERGENT

Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. 

DRYING METHOD

Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
