WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?
The Pelican Heat/Cold Pack – Traps (Trapezius) is filled with lupin seeds which effectively retain both heat or cold. They are lightweight with a low odor after heating, compared to wheat. Special sizes can be made to order.
This Pack is designed to cover the neck, the shoulders, and the back with the lupin seeds covering the trapezius muscle.
WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR?
Heat therapy may help relieve aches and stiffness, while cold therapy may help ease swelling and pain. Both heat and cold therapies may help ease symptoms of arthritis. Some people may use a Cold Pack to reduce swelling, then after a day or two, use a Heat Pack to relax their muscles.
BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Always use a barrier between the Heat/Cold Pack – Traps and bare skin. This is to help prevent burns and to help keep the Pack clean from things like sweat or moisturizer. A shirt, trousers, towel, tea towel, or napkin could be suitable.
