ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

The Aero Transfer Slider is a patient transfer aid specifically designed for use on aircraft. It is used to assist in sliding a passenger from a wheelchair in the aircraft aisle into their seat.

Although designed for aircraft use, the Aero Transfer Slider may also be used in other transfer situations, including transfers into and out of vehicles, and between wheelchairs and seating surfaces.

WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?

This product is suitable for people who require assistance when transferring into a seat during air travel.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

Two carers can use the pulling handles to assist in sliding the passenger from their wheelchair into their seat. The Aero Transfer Slider may be used in conjunction with a slide board, such as the Slide Board – Aero Transfer, to facilitate the transfer. If the gap between the wheelchair and seat is minimal, transfer may be possible without a slide board.
