ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Incontinence Chair Pad – Washable, is a lightweight, breathable, and waterproof incontinence pad. It is designed to soak up a small amount of urine compared to thicker and heavier chair pads. It may help protect the chair from urine overflows.
Because the Pad is thin and flexible, it may be suitable to use on some pressure care cushions. A Pressure Care specialist should evaluate the Pad before using to make sure it will be suitable.
The Pad has a soft top layer made from brushed polyester material, a thin absorbent middle layer to retain some fluid, and a breathable, waterproof bottom layer with non-slip dots. There are ties on each corner to secure the Pad to the chair if necessary.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
This product is suitable for people who may experience bladder control issues while in a chair.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Place the Pad on the chair.ย Do the ties up to the chair legs but do not tie to the removable armrests on a wheelchair. On some chairs the four ties can be left under the Pad.
We always recommend that the patient wears good-quality incontinence pants in addition to using the Pad.
