ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Pelican Heat/Cold Pack – Elbow/Knee is filled with lupin seeds which effectively retain both heat or cold. They are lightweight with a low odor after heating, compared to wheat. Special sizes can be made to order.
Strong elastic Straps for the Elbow/Knee Packs are available to enable people to walk around while wearing the Pack. Select these from the drop-down menu above when ordering your Heat//Cold Pack.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
Heat therapy may help relieve aches and stiffness, while cold therapy may help ease swelling and pain. Both heat and cold therapies may help ease symptoms of arthritis. Some people may use a Cold Pack to reduce swelling, then after a day or two, use a Heat Pack to relax their muscles.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Always use a barrier between the Heat/Cold Pack – Elbow/Knee and bare skin. This is to help prevent burns and to help keep the Pack clean from things like sweat or moisturizer. A shirt, trousers, towel, tea towel, or napkin could be suitable.
