ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
This product is made from 100% pure sheep’s wool. It is specially treated for Hospital conditions to help prevent pressure problems.
The wool has a knitted back cloth that allows air to breathe, whereas sheepskin has a leather skin backing. This product also has the added benefit of providing pressure care for the heels, elbows, hips, shoulders, etc.
The wool can be cut with a pair of scissors to make individual pads as required. After cutting, remove the loose wool fibers by hand from the edge of the cut. Even after washing some more loose fibers will detach during the first couple of washes, but after this the Wool should stabilize.
The roll width is 170cm / 67″.
This product could be considered as the first line of defense to prevent pressure sores.
