ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Slide Tube is a bed transfer device made from a very thin, strong slippery material sewn into a long tube.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
This product is used to slide a patient from an operating table to a trolley or bed, or from a bed to a shower trolley, etc.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Pull on the bed sheet (trolley or draw sheet) to roll the patient onto their side. Tuck half of the Slide Tube under the patient from head to toe. Move the trolley into position and put the rest of the Tube across onto the trolley. Nurses roll up an edge of the bed sheet to make a comfortable grip, and then simultaneously pull the patient across. Remove the Tube by pulling the underside to avoid shearing.
