ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Mitts – Padded & Vented, are a hand restraint with a 4cm / 1.5″ firm foam base that helps prevent people purposely or inadvertently pulling out IV tubes, drips etc. It is also used for Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT).
It prevents the person from making a fist or holding onto something, and fits most hand sizes.
The high density foam pad is thick enough to keep the hand flat. The outer ventilated material helps keep the hands cool.
This product is sold as a pair.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
The Mitts – Padded & Vented, are suitable for people who are receiving or rehab using Constraint Induced Movement Therapy.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Place the hand in the Mitt, with the fingers separated by the stitching. A Hook & Loop Tape strap secures the Mitt around the wrist.
