    ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

The Car Seat Slider is designed to help passengers or a driver get into a car more easily by reducing the effort and strain required to slide onto a car seat.

Made from strong, thin, breathable nylon – the same material we use for our Bed Slide Sheets and Patient Lifting Slings.

    WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?

Suitable for people who may have mobility issues that and need assistance when getting into a car.

    HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

    • Place the Slider on a car seat with the black non-slip Miracle Grip facing down. The gray Miracle Grip Side Flaps will hang over the sides of the seat.
    • Once the person is sitting comfortably, they can tuck the Side Flaps under their thighs, as close to the bottom as possible. It will help if they lift their legs a little to make a gap under the thighs.
    • If a carer needs to help place the Side Flaps under the thighs, they can place some fingers under the satin pocket, to allow them to slide the flaps under the thighs of both legs. The Side Flaps are to help prevent the person from sliding under the seat belt during an emergency stop.

Warning: The Miracle Grip helps prevent people from sliding forward if the car brakes suddenly in an emergency. Although the seat belt should restrain a person during braking, the Miracle Grip is a backup that may help prevent sliding foward. However due to different shaped seats, the speed of the car, and the braking force, as well as different shaped people, this may not always be effective.
