ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Bed Fall Mat – Sewn is a covered foam cushion, or ‘crash mat’. It is placed next to the bed, to help prevent injuries if someone falls from the bed. It is designed to be used with most beds, but preferably with beds that go low to the ground. It is not designed to be fallen on from a great height, or from a bed that has bed rails up.
There is high visibility webbing sewn along one edge. It comes supplied with a warning sign which you can place on a door handle so that carers are aware of the potential tripping hazard.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
This product may help prevent injury from a fall from a bed.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Lower the bed as far as possible, and place the product on the floor. Ensure there is no gap between the bed and Bed Fall Mat. When not in use, the Mat can be folded and stored behind the head of the bed.
