ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The Side Straps are designed for use with the Bosun Chair Sling to provide additional stability for users with reduced trunk control who may lean sideways while suspended in the sling.
WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT?
Suitable for users of the Bosun Chair Sling who require additional lateral support.
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
Attach the longest loops of the Side Straps onto the designated sections of the sling belt webbing on both sides.
When lifting, trial different loop positions to determine the most suitable attachment point on the hoist spreader bar.
The Side Straps may also be used to extend the shoulder straps on the Premier Lifting Sling and other lifting slings. This can assist with lifting a person from the floor while lying down.
PRODUCT MATERIALS
Webbing.
CLEANING METHOD – SEWN VERSION
Machine or hand wash .We recommend using a Pelican Washing Bag to help contain the product.
MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE
80°C / 176°F.
DETERGENT
Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Fabric softener and excessive chlorine or bleach can damage any material, including Sling material. Slings should be continuously inspected for deterioration and discoloration, as this may be an early warning of possible failure.
DRYING METHOD
Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.
CLEANING WARNING
Only use and store the product when it is dry.

Are these Straps only for use with the Bosun Chair Sling (sold separability)?
No . They are a simple piece of webbing with bar stitching at certain intervals. You may find other uses for them.
