ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Face Shields are often used to help prevent the transfer of communicable diseases, such as Coronavirus/COVID-19, by limiting the exposure of airborne droplets to the wearer. Our Face Shield is made using a clear, durable, flexible PVC material. One of the advantages of this material is that it can be folded to be carried in a bag or large pocket until it is needed and takes up less storage space than a rigid polycarbonate/PET shield. It is also available with a Neck Protector, which can be tucked into clothing to provide extra protection.

The Face Shield has an adjustable elastic headband to fit most head sizes and is designed to sit away from the face, providing room to wear goggles or reading glasses. While the material is clear, it may be difficult to read fine print through it. The Face Shield has been tested for fogging and does not normally steam up. Glasses and most goggles also remain clear.

CLEANING METHOD

Wipe clean or machine or hand wash.

MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE

80°C / 176°F.

DETERGENT

Use a mild hospital disinfectant and wipe cleaner, or use a detergent for washing. Do not use fabric softener.

DRYING METHOD

Air dry in the shade.

CLEANING WARNING

Do not spray disinfectant directly onto the Face Shield, as it is possible that this could cause contaminants that may be on the surface to be moved into the air. Test your cleaning agent in a discreet area of the product to ensure it does not damage the material. Only use and store the product when it is dry.

If machine washing, unthread the elastic strap and hand or machine wash. Once dry, rethread the elastic into the buckle. Test that it is correctly threaded by pulling on the elastic to make sure it does not slip through the buckle.
