WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

The Leg Support is a foam footstool or leg rest. The shape allows for no pressure on the heels. There are two cover options:

  • Blue Water-Resistant Cover – This is a material as used for anoraks. It is wipeable and washable.
  • Blue Heat-Sealed Cover – This is a 100% heat-sealed cover which be be completely wiped clean for infection control.

A feature of this product compared ot others on the market, is that if someone walking accidentally walks into the Leg Support, it’s lightweight foam construction means that kicks out of the way. This makes it less of a tripping hazards compared to heavier footstool options. It is designed to help prevent foot-drop and oedema.

The foam is convoluted behind the calves, to allow for good blood circulation.

If used in a skilled nursing facility, staff can slightly change the position of the Support to move where the weight of the legs is felt.

Designed for anyone where there is a risk of pressure sores forming on the heels.

Place on the floor and place your feet on the leg Support.

CLEANING METHOD

Foam: Remove the foam and rinse in water.
Cover: Machine or hand wash the cover.

MAXIMUM WASHING TEMPERATURE

Foam: Warm.
Cover: 80°C / 176°F.

DETERGENT

Use a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener.

DRYING METHOD

Foam: Air dry in the shade.
Cover: Air dry in the shade. Alternatively, tumble dry on a cool temperature and make sure the drum is cool.

CLEANING WARNING

Only use and store the product when it is dry.
